Note: If you are new to Reggio-inspired pedagogy we recommend taking Session 1 first to give you a background and context for the ideas explored in this session.
Are you looking for ways to move across disciplines by bringing expressive languages into your project work? Do want to develop your ability to work with documentation to respond to children’s ideas and deepen their thinking? This two-day session is an opportunity to combine theory with practice. In handson sessions, you will develop your competence using a variety of tools and materials within an inquiry such as light & projection, magnification, graphic and sculptural forms. We will also explore ways that documentation can be used and displayed to support project work, group knowledge-building, teacher collaboration and theory development in children.
