On Sunday afternoon, March 11 at 3:00, we will gather in the central piazza in front of the Valli Municipal Theatre.  We will form small groups to be escorted on a guided walk so you can see some of the old part of the city and hear some of the history.  After the walk, if there is sufficient interest, we will meet at the Loris Malaguzzi International Centre from 4:30 – 6:00 for a reception with Parmigiano Reggiano and mustards produced by the talented staff at Pause (the restaurant at the Centre), salty vegetable cakes by the chef, mortadella and pistacchios as well as sparkling wine and non-alcoholic fruit cocktail, and have a chance to socialize and become familiar with the location where our study week is based.  There is a small fee for this gathering.  The cost for this reception is $8.00 CAD per person. Though ORA had hoped to pay 100% for this event, we have proposed to share the cost with our participants. The exchange rate has changed considerably from the time we established the fees for the tour, unfortunately not in our favour. If fewer than 80 people are interested, we will cancel the reception and refund the money to those who have registered.
