Encounters with Materials Exhibit:

Illustrating moments from a three-year art-based collaborative inquiry into materiality in early childhood education, the Material Encounters exhibit explores materials as encountersand events. It considers what it means to think with things: how each material evokes particular intra-actions and presents particular possibilities among/with/between young children.

ORA members are invited to join ORA Board member Veronica Pacini-Ketchabaw at the Encounters with Materials Exhibit for a conversation about the installation, from 10am to 12noon at the London Children’s Museum. Veronica will discuss a series of ethnographic events and engagements with existing ideas of materiality in early childhood education.
